What is the For-Gold economy?

The answer

The For-Gold economy is the participation economy in which real-world actions — playing, watching, learning, moving, attending, spending — earn rewards denominated in real-world assets, beginning with digital gold. It is the consumer expression of RWA Rewards: one ledger, many earning surfaces, and a denomination with a floor.

The design solves the failure that defined the to-earn era: emission-funded rewards collapse when inflows stop, while asset-denominated rewards funded by issuers and merchants have economics independent of the network's own growth. Each participation verb — the ecosystem documents more than a dozen, from play to save to build — is a distribution channel for the same ledger, which is why the model compounds where single-app reward schemes plateaued.

The firm maintains institutional summaries of the full For-Gold literature as sector coverage, and its research treats the underlying question — externally funded versus emission-funded rewards — as the dividing line for the whole participation economy.
