Taking a China-founded network into Western markets.
At a glance
The mandate
TRON engaged GDA to build a distribution capability outside its founding market in China, with a primary focus on North America. The objective was mainstream reach and a materially larger network capitalization.
What was built
The firm appointed and coordinated regional representatives across ten cities โ Toronto, New York, Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Montreal, Kuala Lumpur, Bangalore, Trivandrum, and Nairobi โ each running local activations. GDA facilitated tier-one exchange listings to establish trading depth and originated the partnerships that brought the network in front of a combined audience of one hundred million daily active users.
The outcome
Network capitalization moved from approximately $50 million to approximately $4.5 billion over a six-month activation period. Coverage was placed in the Huffington Post, Yahoo Finance, Seeking Alpha, and more than one hundred sector publications.
